Wagon Test Run

Today was the first test run of two completed wagons. I did several complete circuits (c.80ft) with the wagons both loaded and unloaded with no issues so it looks promising to go into full production.

The painting and weathering still needs some work. I plan to have several types of wagon. Type1 (trailing) has curved ends, wooden supports and curly spoke wheels. Type 2 (leading) is similar but with flat ends and plain spoke wheels. The later types will have metal supports, disc wheels and possibly volute springs. There will be some variation from repairs etc.

The load is epoxy putty chunks - like Milliput but I found a cheaper variant called Pool Putty. This remains clean and tips easily.
